UK Telecom will provide a cost-effective and quality service for call routing compared to most scenarios, particularly when direct carrier usage is in place.
We have close relationships with a number of tier-one carriers to guarantee the best possible resilience and performance. We only employ the latest technology in order to route traffic. Our own experienced engineers deal with the transition to our service where necessary and there is no disruption during the implementation process.
As a reseller we use Carrier Pre Selection to route your traffic. This involves routing traffic at the BT exchange. This cuts out the need for routing equipment and switch programming.
The key benefits of CPS routing include the
prevention of call leakage occurring over BT and the facility to have more than one carrier provisioned onto a CLI to provide more resilience.
Where LCR (Least Cost Routing) is required, we provide all engineering work, install any autodiallers required or modify switchboard software, completely free of charge and at a time convenient for you. We ensure the service is working satisfactorily before leaving the site after installation.
If manual dialling is to be used in any situations, or dialling from computer modems, we provide any necessary advice and assistance required, although we do not modify computer dialling sequences unless specifically requested to do so.
