An Agents' role is to simply sell and promote UKTelecom's services professionally and amicably. Every Agent must pass an accreditation test.
All Agents are expected to set their own targets, however UKTelecom expects every Agent to provide a simple business plan to ensure they understand the commitment they are undertaking. The minimum expectation is that all active agents will sign a minimum of 10 new contracts within any rolling twelve month period. UKTelecom will not accept Agents who will not be commercially viable for either themselves or UKTelecom.
UKTelecom provides full product training, sales training, where applicable, and professional advice and materials. The training is provided either at UKTelecom€s offices in the UK or at an appropriate venue in France. On completion of the training program ongoing support is available through the UKTelecom Customer Support Team.
An Agent can sell all or only one of UKTelecom€s services. The most important thing is that you generate sufficient revenue to cover your efforts, and, of course, keep customers happy.
We will go through every Agent's business plan to ensure that it is realistic and achievable. As revenue is ongoing it is the Agents who persevere for 2 to 3 years who generate very large earnings.
An agency is not a franchise, and UKTelecom does not provide bespoke areas, however we monitor where our Agents are and endeavour to stop overcrowding where possible. Distributors, however do get a defined region - see below.
You may, however you will be responsible for them. UKTelecom will provide training where agreed.
